Cycle Right Safety Classes

Our 5th and 6th Class completed a 6 week cycle safety course with Cycle Right. The chidlren were taught how to move safely as a cyclist in complex and changing road environments in their locality.  Well done to all the children who completed the course with some on-road cycling. 

Spooktacular Costumes!

There were spooktacular costumes on display before midterm break! Peter O’Mahony even made an appearance after his world cup efforts!

Cavan Primary Schools Cross Country 2023

Congratulations to all our pupils who competed in the County Cavan Primary Schools Cross Country  in Killinkere on the 11th October. The children showed brilliant determination and resilience competing with hundreds of other children on the day. Well done to Dara Brunton and Sophie Lynch who finished in the top 10 in their races. Congratulations to the Intermediate Boys team of CodyMcPhillips, Seán Fitzsimons, Ryan Gibson, Donnacha Reilly, Senan Garry andRyan Caffrey who finished 2nd team overall in the small schools category and also our Senior Boys team of Dara Brunton, Conor O’Reilly, Ewan Clinton,James McBreen, Dima and Tymur Trufanov who also finished 2nd team overall in the small schools category. Well done to all the children for representing our school so well on the day, we are all very proud of you!

Friendship Week

We will celebrate Friendship Week from the 25th-29th September. The children will learn all about the importance of friendship and being a good friend.

Our Buddies!

There was great excitement as our our Junior and Senior Infants met their 5th and 6th Class buddies! Our buddy system helps to build our school community and helps our younger and older students gain valuable social and emotional skills. Farewell to 6th Class

On Friday 23rd we said our goodbyes to our 12 6th class pupils! How lucky were we as a school community to have such a fantastic 6th class this year, thank you 6th class and we wish you all the best as you move into secondary school. 

Slán agus Beannacht

On Tuesday 20th June we had our End of Year mass to mark Mrs Bernie McEvoy’s retirement. Mrs McEvoy was a part of the school community of Scoil Bhríde for 43 years. We will miss her but we wish her all the very best as she starts the next chapter in her life. Go n-éirí an bóthar leí!
