Congratulations to our classmate Conor who has qualified for the World Irish Dancing Competition in Montreal next year! We are so proud of you Conor.

We were excited to take a walk up through our beautiful village to admire the spooky creations that the Mountnugent Tidy Village Committee created. Thank you kindly to Colette Kearney who talked us through each decoration and how they were made…who knew old trampoline covers and chicken wire was so effective!

Thank you kindly to Ms O’Rourke who organised Maths stations in our hall to finish our Maths week, we had great fun!

On Friday we celebrated European Schools Sports day with some co-operative balloon games! The wind didn’t help but added to the fun!!

Collaborative Artwork and discussing some lovely friendship quotes was just some of the activities we did for friendship week

6th class had their graduation mass on Wednesday! We wish them all the very best as they move on to secondary school and we thank them for their kindness, enthusiasm and good spirit! How lucky we were in Scoil Bhríde to have such lovely pupils!

Ms Browne’s frying pan was busy last week as we had a yummy breakfast morning!

We were very lucky to be invited to our local Bee Barn by Bernie and Arthur Reilly. We were amazed at just how important our bees are to us and were fascinated to see a live working hive. Thank you to Arthur and Bernie for their hospitality!

6th class ran a very successful bake sale in aid of the Be Buddies not Bullies campaign. They raised €560.00!! As well as the bake sale they also donated some of their Confirmation money. How lucky are we to have such generous and kind children in our school! 6th class made a presentation to Chloe Heaslip on Tuesday 22nd June. Well done all!
