On Friday 11th April we held our first ever Easter Bonnet Parade. The creativity and effort that was shown by all our pupils was excellent and it made the judges decision very difficult! Comhghairdeachas go léir!

We were very lucky to be invited to the Beebarn during Science Week celebrations. Thank you to the parents who facililated this too.
Arthur and Bernie were most welcoming and provided a great insight into their work.
We heard about the different bees, the role of the beekeeper and got to try on the beekeeper suits.

The girls from 3rd-6th Class tried out some rugby on Friday 4th April. Thank you kindly to Jon Watt from Virginia RFC who facilitated the session for the girls. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
We had a lovely morning in Ballinacree last Friday as we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge with a Cluiche Corr with our neighbours in Scoil Naomh Fiach.


We have had an exciting week in 6th Class. On Monday 3rd March we received the Sacrament of Confirmation from Rev Bishop Tom Deenihan and on Thursday morning we had a breakfast morning in our sparkly new hoodies!
Thank you kindly to our Parent’s Association who covered the cost of the hoodies for our 6th Class. It is much appreciated.

Congratulations to our 6th Class pupils who made their Confirmation on Monday 3rd March. Thank you to Ms Rahill for all her work and guidance in preparing them for the sacrament. We pray that the Holy Spirit will guide and direct them in the years ahead.

Congratulations to our four Oldcastle Show winners who won medals for their handwriting and artwork at last years Oldcastle Show. Maith sibh!
