3rd-6th Class School Tour took place last Friday 17th June in the Cavan Centre! The children had a brilliant day,thank you kindly to Sheena and all in the Cavan Centre for making it a memorable day for all!

Be Buddies not Bullies campaign
6th class ran a very successful bake sale in aid of the Be Buddies not Bullies campaign. They raised €560.00!! As well as the bake sale they also donated some of their Confirmation money. How lucky are we to have such generous and kind children in our school! 6th class made a presentation to Chloe Heaslip on Tuesday 22nd June. Well done all!
Our new hotel
A new hotel for local bugs opens at Scoil Bhríde! Thank you to the sixth class for designing and painting our sign for our new five star bug hotel! It looks super! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Football is back!!!
Well done to our boys and girls football teams who had their first games this week. We are very proud of them all for representing our school so well. The future is bright for Mountnugent GFC ??
Buddy Benches

The front of our school is looking lovely and bright with the addition of our two new buddy benches. Thank you to the Parents’ Association for organising our big buddy bench and in particular Eurich Reilly, Raymond and Paddy Finnegan, Dallan Kearney and Killian Fitzsimons with contributions also from the Tidy Village Committee and Mountnugent Juvenile Football Club.
Thank you to Brendan Brady and the Virginia Men’s Shed for our second buddy bench. Both benches are a welcome addition to our yard and we greatly appreciate your support.
